Melanie Santostefano founded what would become Vicarious Multimedia in January of 2004, with a singular goal to create a communications firm that expertly assisted clients with marketing and public relations to get them noticed and in front of the ‘right’ crowd. By trade, Melanie is a writer and editor, skills that were born out of her years working in the news media (radio newswire, reporting and broadcasting, and web-based news). She is the proud child of immigrants and the first in her family to graduate from college, and was surrounded by entrepreneurs/business owners growing up (mother, father, an aunt and three uncles all owned small businesses). Melanie is proud and humbled by the growth that Vicarious Multimedia has experienced over the last 17 years. It was a ‘brick by brick’ growth that took serious commitment, sacrifice, and which has been buoyed by her true passion for communications and serving the firm’s clients. Services provided by Vicarious Multimedia including writing/editing/copywriting, graphic design, websites, social media management, video production and public relations – including PR and public information campaigns and crisis communications.
