What is happening in our world that is making this a trending topic? Googling search engine shows 114 million results on the topic of burnout. Burnout transcends all facets, however the topic of burnout in the workplace is extremely important as it relates to work life balance.

Employee burnout costs $125 to $190 billion in health care spending annually (according to Harvard Business Review).  Learn steps you can take to extinguish the burnout at this month’s Good Morning Schaumburg.

Gennie Anderson, Respiratory Therapy Manager, Prism Health Care Services. Gennie and her team of seven Respiratory Therapists create a plan of care to educate and ensure therapy compliance goals are met for patients who have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea and other respiratory obstruction diseases. Gennie has been a Respiratory Therapist for 39 years and uses continuous positive airway therapy to manager her sleep disturbance disorder.

From 1995 to 2002, she was a designer at ROI. She then spent 10 years running her own design business followed by a few years designing for Centegra Health System.
