Moderator
Matt Frank is the Director of Economic Development for the Village of Schaumburg. He has spent the past twenty-seven years with the Village, serving in roles that include Planner, Economic Development Manager, and Assistant Director of Community Development. In his current position, Matt serves as the Village’s liaison to the business community, leading efforts to market Schaumburg, attract investment, and support local businesses.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield. Prior to joining Schaumburg, he worked as a Planner for the DuPage Community Development Department.
He is a member of the American Planning Association, the American Institute of Certified Planners, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Matt also serves on the Boards of Directors for the Schaumburg Business Association, the Schaumburg Park Foundation, Illinois ICSC, and the Greater Chicago Advanced Manufacturing Partnership.

Adrian Brizuela who is the Associate Director of Market Analytics at CoStar and Homes.com, where he delivers commercial and residential real estate insights across the Chicago metropolitan area. With more than eight years of experience in real estate consulting and analytics, Adrian brings deep expertise in market fundamentals, development feasibility, and regional dynamics. On the residential side, he provides insights into home prices, inventory levels, and rental conditions.

Prior to joining CoStar, Adrian worked at JLL Capital Markets, supporting research initiatives for multifamily investment sales and debt advisory teams. His earlier experience includes conducting market and feasibility studies for prospective housing developments and serving as an economic developer with the City of Chicago. Adrian holds a master’s degree in economic development from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Tedd Brewer is the General Manager of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games in Schaumburg. With over 20 years in the hospitality industry, Tedd brings over a dozen years of family entertainment center experience to the table. Prior to joining Andretti, Tedd received the GM Peer leader award from Main Event two years in a row, has won additionally awards for maintaining the lowest turnover in the company, and financial results. Tedd prides himself on creating synergy, is deeply passionate about people and leadership.

Tedd enjoys bringing the fun to work, leading his team to achieving their goals financially, while focusing on the goals of the company, his direct reports, and the guest experience. Tedd's personal mission statement is positively impacting as many people as possible. Tedd has a bachelor's degree in communications from Aurora University. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids.

Christopher Speca is a General Manager with Simon Property Group, where he has spent the past 19 years as part of a 30-year career in retail real estate. His experience spans major markets including Philadelphia and Orlando, and since joining Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg in 2020, he has led operations at one of the region’s premier retail destinations.

He is known for combining operational leadership with a strong focus on customer experience while driving high-performing retail real estate assets.
