Schaumburg's Hometown Hero to Soccer's Highest Level: Lessons in Leadership, Teamwork & High Performance

Schaumburg Business Association is excited to welcome hometown hero and professional soccer player Chris Mueller back to his roots for a very special Good Morning Schaumburg.

Chris took his passion for soccer from the local fields of Schaumburg to the highest levels of the game, competing professionally in Major League Soccer, overseas in Scotland, and representing the United States.
Through that journey, Chris learned that sustained success requires far more than talent. It requires communication, accountability, trust, resilience, an understanding of your role, and a willingness to consistently meet the standard your team is counting on you to uphold.

Chris will share stories and lessons from inside professional sports and explore how the principles behind high-performing teams translate directly into business, leadership, and life. He will share lessons on taking ownership of responsibilities, communicating effectively, responding to adversity (specifically from his stint battling a heart condition), and committing to performing his job exceptionally well.

He will also share what comes next as he takes those lessons into building BTB, a player development and education company designed to help the next generation of athletes better navigate their own pursuit of excellence.
