November's Good Morning Schaumburg

Dr. Jason J. Washburn, Director, Center for Evidence-Based Practice will be presenting on Stress Management. 

This presentation will discuss the current state of stress in the United States, focusing on rates of significant stress, differences in rates of stress across various groups, and common sources of stressors. We will also address common myths about stress, as well as discuss general strategies for managing stress. 

Dr. Jason J. Washburn is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, directing the Center for Evidence-Based Practice at AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Behavioral Hospital in Hoffman Estates.  He is also an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies for the PhD Program in Clinical Psychology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.  Dr. Washburn completed his M.A. and Ph.D. at DePaul University, his clinical internship at the University of Washington School of Medicine, a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical School and a was a Robert Wood Johnson Research Scholar at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
