Senior Associate Commissioner at Big Ten Conference
When hired at the Big Ten Conference in 1979 as an assistant communications director there were 10 universities and men's athletics only. Thirty-five years, and many different titles and responsibilities later, the Big Ten on July 1, 2014 will become 14, with young women and young men competing side-by-side in athletics at the highest level.
