ESTATE PLANNING FOR YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS!
It’s been said that “failing to plan is planning to fail.” Nowhere is this old adage more applicable than in preparing yourself and your business for your death or incapacity. Although these can be difficult topics to consider, it is vitally important – especially as a business owner – to develop a comprehensive plan, to implement that plan, and to ensure that others are aware of your plan and understand your wishes.
In this installment of Good Morning Schaumburg, attorney Heather Walser will discuss the pitfalls of failing to plan for your death or incapacity. We will explore what this planning means for both you personally and for your business, and identify the best approaches for dealing with common issues and concerns related to business succession, personal planning, and potential tax impacts.
