Michael T. Peddle is an Associate Professor of Public Administration and former Associate Dean for Academic Administration at the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences at Northern Illinois University.  He has experience as a management team negotiator in labor negotiations and as a retail manager and consultant. 
A native of the northwest suburbs, he has over thirty years experience consulting with local and state governments on economic development and growth management issues, including the design of development exaction programs.  An economist and accountant by training, Peddle’s primary expertise lies in public finance, business and residential location, economic development finance, and the use of negotiation and bargaining as a tool for improving the outcomes of public policy decisions.  He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and the Finance Chair of the Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois and as the Chair of the Citizens Finance Advisory Committee to the City of DeKalb, Illinois.  He earned his Ph.D. in economics from Northwestern University.

Paul Green is Chairman- Dept. of Political Science and Public Administration, the  Director of the Institute for Politics and Arthur Rubloff Professor of Policy Studies at Roosevelt University in Chicago.  He is also the Political Analyst for WGN Radio, guest columnist for Daily Herald, the author of several books and articles on Illinois and Chicago politics.  He is also Chairman of the City Club of Chicago. His latest publications, co-authored with Mel Holli, are entitled World War II Chicago and The Mayors: The Chicago Political Tradition, 4th edition.
 
Professor Green is frequently quoted and interviewed by the national news organizations for his views on the American political scene. He has attended fourteen national party conventions as a radio and television commentator.  His name appears frequently as an expert in news stories in the New York Times, Washington Post, Time, and Newsweek.  He has also lectured at universities in Europe, Asia, and Africa and was one of a few American academic/ journalists to travel with the candidates for British Prime Minister in 1997.
 
Paul is also a former elected official.  He served as Monee Township Supervisor from 1977 to 1983.
 
Paul received his BA at the University of Illinois in History and Political Science and his MA and Ph.D. at the University of Chicago.  He is married to Sharon Green, Director of Programs and Strategic Planning—Institute for Women’s Health at Northwestern University  They have two adult children.
