SBA Members are Invited to Attend Legislative Affairs Meeting

I heard Kellys excellent presentation last week. The changes coming to our healthcare system are big and very important.  Our committee has already heard on this subject from the IL Chamber, however, each stakeholder describes the impact of the new law differently. Business owners, agents, insurance carriers, health care providers and insureds each have different issues and concerns. Kellys presentation provides a great overview of ACA and the perspective from the largest healthcare provider in our area.

The meeting will be held in Room 7 of the Womens and Childrens Hospital on the campus of St. Alexius Medical Center from 8 AM to 9:30 AM on Monday August 5.  Please RSVP to me at kjevans@kfia.net, as our hosts will be providing breakfast and we need an approximate headcount.

Directions to the meeting are attached.  For those of you who have not been to the new Womens and Childrens Hospital, the building is located next to the emergency room entrance (East side) of the campus.  There is a convenient multi-level parking garage adjacent to the emergency room. Use the Pediatrics Entrance of the new building, take the elevator down to the lower level, Room 7 is across from the elevator.
