Join Roosevelt University and the Village of Schaumburg for a workshop led by Dr. Federico Sciammarella, Executive Director of the Illinois Manufacturing Institute at the University of Illinois. With over 25 years of experience as an engineer, researcher, and academic leader, Dr. Sciammarella will share how innovation, workforce development, and cybersecurity are reshaping U.S. manufacturing. Topics include: the current state of U.S. manufacturing, cybersecurity and advanced technologies, workforce challenges and opportunities, bridging academia and the manufacturing industry, policy and economic development impacts, and future trends in manufacturing. Hosted by the Roosevelt Incubator of Schaumburg Enterprises (RISE) program, dedicated to supporting local entrepreneurs through mentorship, education, and access to valuable university and business resources.
