BIO-
Roxanne is no stranger to having her professional life in Health Care and personal life collide together, but a recent diagnosis with an invasive, yet curable breast cancer was not in the plan of things to do in 2021. After attending a Boomers Baseball Game promoting Breast Cancer Awareness, she did a self breast exam and discovered a life changing lump and was sent into a frenzy of tests to confirm a diagnosis of Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, a form of an aggressive breast cancer. Being a 4th generation cancer fighter, a mom of 3 young kids and a wife, Roxanne will share all she has learned about the power of transparency, forgiveness, laughter, and the power of not shaving your legs! You are sure to walk away from the 1st Women in Business of 2022 with a renewed energy around why it’s so important to care for your health (why is it so hard for us??) and a sore stomach from laughing about the unexpected beauty that can be found through difficult life circumstances.
