About Us

Located in Schaumburg. Also serving Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Streamwood and surrounding communities. Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services has been family owned and operated for over 100 years. Our motto, ''Continuing a Tradition of Excellence in Services, Reliability and Care'', still rings true today. Our role at Ahlgrim & Sons is to satisfy the wishes of every family in a compassionate, detailed and professional manner.

Ahlgrim & Sons offers everything from a simple to traditional cremation or funeral ceremony. We work with each family to customize the personal funeral details expressing the thoughts and ideas that make a difference to every family. Your service can be held in your place of worship or in one of our newly decorated and spacious chapels. We include a family DVD slideshow that is played on our 60-inch TV screens, if the family chooses to, at their service, and each family has use of our recently renovated lounges. We also include pallbearer gloves, religious emblems. Ahlgrim & Sons' dedicated staff works and plans closely with the family to make the funeral service an extension of the deceased's lifestyle and beliefs.

We also acknowledge the great service and sacrifice made by of our Veterans by completing and filling out all paperwork to insure each family of the deceased Veteran receives all benefits to which they are entitled. These include scheduling a Military honor team, the playing of ''Taps'', a formal presentation of the U.S. flag, presidential memorial certificate and a protective case for their flag. We will treat you the same as our son and brother, LCDR Michael Ahlgrim, USN (Ret) after his 20 years in the US. Navy.

The goal of Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services is to exceed the expectations of the families who turn to us for help and guidance. Whether their need is for immediate attention or if it is for funeral planning for a future need.
