About Us

Barrington Orthopedic Specialists was established in 1980 by founder Dr. Keith Schroeder, Orthopedic Surgeon. His philosophy, which remains today, is to treat patients as you would want to be treated. It all begins with listening to our patients and taking the time to perform a thorough evaluation in order to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.

Our practice offers an impressive roster of board-certified orthopedic surgeons, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians and podiatric foot & ankle surgeons all committed to providing exceptional care.

In-house services include a Rehabilitation Department at all locations, offering physical therapy and occupational therapy. Our Schaumburg location offers a Work Conditioning Program, Immediate Orthopedic Care, MRI services and an affiliated Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Barrington Orthopedic Specialists has 4 convenient locations in Schaumburg, Bartlett, Elk Grove Village and Buffalo Grove.
